Impact and Influence for Women Leaders

Evidence shows that there are observable differences between the communication patterns of men and women in the work-place; and that these differences have significant impact on who gets heard and who progresses upwards in corporations.

This event casts light on why this is and what women leaders can do about it. It equips women executives with practical methods to get heard and get the best out of others.

From the Threshold team (includes):

- Helen Ayres: Helen is a professionally trained acting coach and voice over artist for the BBC. With a background in psychology, she is an experienced mediator specializing in conflict resolution. She now combines this expertise to help business leaders to enhance communication and personal effectiveness. Corporate Clients include Aviva, BP, Johnson and Johnson and Amnesty International. In the field of Theatre, Helen has worked with: Emilia Fox, Naomie Harris, Maxine Peake, Helen Baxendale and Lynda La Plante.


- Peter Nicholas: with a background in psychology, Peter is a leading acting coach, who regularly appears on television shows such as Naked (BBC3) Would Like to Meet (Channel 4) and Faking It (Channel 4).

It will be Threshold’s usual blend of facts, insights, and practical techniques. We will be combining the latest psychological research with practical tools and methods, together with the opportunity to practice with skilled and experience coaches.

We also offer free additional membership of the Threshold community, which is an ongoing source of advice, support and access to a network of women leaders.
